Gaston County Girls on the Run director Kathleen Boyce asked me several weeks ago if I would come out and shoot for this wonderful event! It was so nice seeing everyone out on a beautiful Saturday morning, representing their schools and organizations. Even Miss Gastonia, Tiffany Payne, was in attendance showing her support for these young girls and boys. The only problem was my battery died when a large group of runners were coming in to cross the finish line, so I am afraid I missed quite a few while I was chaning batteries.
